About Us

My name is Claude and I was born and educated in France (Brittany) many years ago. However I have lived in various British Isles and the UK for over fifty years.

This website is about our hobbies and my main interest is photography. I am a very keen photographer and will photograph anything and everything, and then spend a huge amount of time editing the images to get my desired result. I have a special passion for taking photos of dogs. Unfortunately the last of my own dogs passed away a few years ago, but they will never be forgotten.

I hold a LRPS distinction with the Royal Photographic Society, and am a member of a local camera club where I participate in all their competitions. I also have a separate website 'claudetrew.com' that showcases some of my photographic work.

I am licensed radio amateur with the callsign M7TQZ, and am a member of a local amateur radio club.

My name is Philip, and I am a native of Portsmouth (UK).

I began tinkering with electronics and reading about computing at about 14 years of age, and built a few transistor radios long before I left school. My venture into computing had to wait until I was about 18 years old and employed, as the personal computer era had not then started !

Since that time, technology has become a lifelong passion for me.

I enjoy photography, but maybe more technical with the camera than artistic. On the other hand, Claude is very artistic with her camera so we learn a lot from each other.

I have a strong interest in music, and enjoy playing the harpsichord and digital piano. I am only an amateur player, but it is a very relaxing diversion from my other more technical interests.

As with Claude, I am a radio amateur and have the callsign M0YBD. At one time I also held a private pilots license and spent quite a bit of time at Goodwood, but that was many years ago.
